some people have excess amounts of cash. i've never pretended to be one of those people. unfortunately, most equipment needed for my career of choice can be more than a little harmful to my bank account. here's a perfect example of something awesome that can cost (seemingly) millions of dollars:
because of this conundrum, i've more than once chosen the do-it-yourself (diy) route when it comes to photography gear. here's an experiment-turned-sucess (an idea i stole from David Tejada's blog).
